1.CTC revision can start without withdrawn resignation or it has to withdrawn first and then they can proceed?

My organization absorbed another and the former deputy PM became a branch head - a demotion. For org was more focused on tech dev and not delivering a product on a sked. I’m entering usa on 6th of June on Deloitte I-797 whereas another I-797 have been approved in my name as well for change of employer but my last day at Deloitte is June 17th. First day with new employer is june 21st. Am I doing the right thing or should I use new I-797 to enter?
