Has anyone lateraled for the sole purpose of getting the signing bonus? In other words, with the intention of leaving after a year (or however long you have to stay in order to not have the bonus clawed back). Sounds like a good strategy if you don’t plan on staying in big law much longer anyways, may as well milk the market as much as you can while it’s hot, no?

Relatedly, if you did that, was there any issue or concern about explaining the 1 year move when you moved onto your next job?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking to join @cmg change management group in their Middle East office as an entry-level consultant.

I was looking to understand a bit more about their company culture, employee experience, and salary breakdown if possible.

Does anyone have any viewpoints of the same?

I’m a new grad hire (7 months) in the OCM consulting space. I’m passionate about change management and communication strategy. I've been reading, googling, and perusing anything I can get my hands on about OCM, including old OCM deliverables and our current methodology. My People Manager told me that OCM is a journey when it comes to understanding it and that a lot of that knowledge is gained through just experience. Does anyone have any tips they’ve gained in their OCM journey to share?

Current analyst (1.5 YOE) here with a strong interest in DevOps and Project Management. I feel like I am slowly but surely getting pigeon-holed in L&D work. I don’t like it, but my leaders continue to tell me that all experience is good experience. Should I try to breakout and find a variety of experience this early in my career or should I try to make it to 3 years and re-evaluate then? Have you had a similar experience? What have you done?

What are the best virtual tools for CM?

I've used intuition and visual assessment prior to COVID. Now we find we need to more trust on how the client views the change needed (or not recognizing the need).

Who is currently hiring entry-level OCM consultants? My close friend studied communications and organizational change, but found their way into logistics. They are looking for opportunities and I think they would be a much better fit as a consultant. My company’s hiring cycle ended so I’m seeing if I can help point them in the right direction before next year. Appreciate any pointers on certs that might help too! (I’m in analytics and not as familiar) Thanks!!
