Take it and keep looking. It’s much easier to get a job when you have one. Negotiate the salary up. The first offer is unlikely to be the final one.
If you find something better, there’s no shame in leaving this job for it.
Got it. I think it’s still worth it to take since you’re currently unemployed. $80k is better than $0k.
WLB is valuable so don't discount that for sure! Time is money!
Unemployed - if you need a job take any job while you look for your perfect job.
If you don't need a job immediately and can afford to wait for that next right fit then by all means, do that !

Can they negotiate other things like time off or another perk? How close would the bonus take to your original pay?
Can you afford to take the cut?
Do you have enough tax write-offs? Check with your CPA - I have found when you get a raise, make sure you don’t jump a tax bracket and find that the raise wasn’t high enough and you work harder, but the Feds are taking your money
After 6+ years I finally broke 100k after lots of hard work and advocating for myself, the job offer is slightly less. I dont want to go backward but maybe its worth it
