I don’t think about them
Observations after interviewing (note: did not take the offer):
- People I interviewed with were very nice & had a very high performing guy I know say nothing but nice things who spent some time there
- Majority of people (all but one) I spoke with were on the sales side of things which was a little curious, I wasn’t speaking to people staffed on jobs. Typical sales guys talking about all the cool people they talk to and the nice stuff they have, was a bit off putting
- Base was lower than my current salary, but with bonus would have been a decent increase (around 20% increase)
- Not a super employee friendly contract to sign (30 day notice needed when leaving)
- Have to put a bunch of your own contacts into their system when joining (weirded me out a bit)
- Owner is a conservative guy with an agenda (Candice Owens was a speaker at one of their yearly events)
- Folks I spoke with were very honest and up front about what to expect with and from the position which I appreciated
- I think they’re giving very large amounts to recruiters who pull people into this firm because I swear I get 1-2 messages a day which is fatiguing
At the end of the day wasn’t what I was looking for, but I wouldn’t call it a bad place. Couldn’t tell you what an exit opportunity would look like coming from here. Hope this helps rather than just saying “place is bad” which seems to be the norm on here
Don’t do it.
It’s where careers go to die.
Coming from someone who actually works at Siegfried, I’ve personally had a great experience here so far. I spent about 5 years in public accounting before making the move and honestly was very skeptical from all the negative comments about it on this platform, but overall I’m very happy with the decision. Comp structures way better, there’s more variety in project opportunities, and hours aren’t that bad (45-50 on average).
So if you’re hitting 45-50 billable hours, what is your average total hours per week?
Feel like everyone had some good comments on here. I’ll Chime in as well.
Been here 3 years. Spent 5 years at Big 4. Haven’t recruited a single person. Made about $190K last year in mcol (115 base, 29k client incentive, 30k production, 10k MYR/MYJ, 2k interviews). I’m liking the mixing it up. My buddy just left to work at his client as a VP for a F500 company so that was cool. DM me with questions if ya want. I know we get a bad rap cause our owner is a conservative/people love shitting on us. Some warranted, some fluff.
MYR? MYJ?
The stigma around SG won’t go away until people start posting about how they were able to leverage their experience at SG into a more prominent job afterwards.
Because such unicorns do not exist.
And how exactly is the 30 day notice clause enforced?
I agree with the above. Nothing but good stuff to say. People that say don’t apply obviously have never left big4 and never worked for us. Comp is amazing, clients are F500 mainly, and you get to do so much more than the usual audits everyone dreads. DM me for more info!
I sure don’t dread auditing or does anyone I work with!!

This is why you work at KPMG.
I work at a F100 company that works with Siegfried consultants. The two I’ve interacted with are rock stars who really know their stuff. I’d never work for them though, their experiences of hopping around just wasn’t appealing to me, I can see the appeal though
