Bain & Company I’m currently prepping for Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company interviews scheduled in the next 2 months. For those that interviewed with both, how would you suggest I tailor my preparation for each one? I understand McKinsey is interviewer led while Bain is the opposite. But other than that, is there anything else I should work on separately for each one?

The CCO is from BBDO so chances are there will be some similarities.
Understood— any insights on the overall company? Trying to get a feel for the people that work there aside from c-suite.
Everyone is pretty friendly. The company made a point to do a lot of activities (pre-Covid). I’m in the creative dept and it’s doesn’t feel super corporate, but I can’t speak to other depts.
I overall enjoyed my experience at TBWA. I don’t have experience at BBDO but the office size is dramatically larger, in case that’s what gave it a corporate feel. I think TBWA is around 150-200ish so I found it easy to get to know (or at least recognize) most people in the office.
Love that — my current agency is about that size as well and there is definitely a sense of camaraderie which helps the long hours & sometimes difficult clients / requests.
Like most agencies, it’s very political and the most important thing is to have a good manager who is able to play the political game so you get opportunities, promotions and raises. You cannot progress here otherwise. There really isn’t much culture, but the operational chaos doesn’t make it feel too corporate at the same time.
100% agree, i think your immediate team/ manager plays the most pivotal role in your success. My current agency does huddles once a week to stay up to date, Yoga/meditation, happy hours here and there - curious to know if TBWA offers things like that since you mentioned a lack of culture or is it strictly work & go home environment?
Same thing. They’re both even Omnicom
Ah — i mean overall hoping for friendly/ more welcoming does that sound off base? Feel like at BBDO no one even said hi to each other really.
