Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.

No. MD referrals are handled separately and have a distinct designation in the recruiting process (gets priority)

Likely no
No, MD referrals are better
A1 has it. Pretty much guarantees at least a first round interview.
As C1 below said, at the experienced hire levels it helps that a recruiter will help you find a good slot. Standard referrals are for a role or at most a city.
If a PPMD goes to bat for you, and you don’t totally screw up the interview, you’re going to get the job.

Same interview process, but should ensure you make it in the pipeline.
I recently started at ACN after having an MD referral.
It really was a white glove process and a recruitment specialist reached out to me, offering her help to apply to any role. If I expressed interest, I would apply and the contact would get in touch with the recruiter for the role. Like others said, this pretty much guaranteed a 1st round.
Additionally, when you get an MD referral, it lasts for 1 year. Whereas I believe referrals from other levels are only good for a specific role you apply to.
Great thanks! I just got referred by one and I wanted to get familiar with the process. I have a call with the specialist coming up :)
