Is it likely that one would get financial aid for an MBA given a consulting background (3 years)? Family not in a circumstance to help financially at all.
I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
Sometimes I wish I never learned about this career path. Ever since I have it’s only caused me stress and anxiety. Anything I accomplish is never good enough since I always have to be working towards the next goal, whether that be another promotion, more impactful projects, an MBA.
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Joined T2 firm this year after my MBA. 6 months in and already tired and thinking of exits. Long WFH hours + new job performance stress is getting to me everyday. Is this normal? See so many alums having spent 2-3 solid years before exiting, wondering how long it’s reasonable for me to stretch without losing my mind.
My firm is paying for my MBA and if I leave now I’ll have to pay anything they’ve paid all back. Assuming I leave now, would it be possible for me to get a student loan to pay the firm back or would it have to be a personal loan since it’s not going directly to school to but rather paying the firm for school? What are my options? Has anyone gone through this before? Thanks!!
Should I get an MBA to get into product? I have zero technical/tech company background but dying to make a transition

Was my screening interview last week appropriate? The HR reached out on Sunday to schedule screening interview, I replied on Monday of my availabilities (from Thu to the next Tue) and she didn’t reply until I followed up on Thursday. Then she sent an invite for the same day afternoon. I said the availability was outdated and i would be free on Friday. Then we had the interview on Friday. During the screening, she asked why I changed employers so quickly didn’t ask me to ask questions.

IBMer's, Need urgent help. I recently joined IBM at band 7b for java full stack profile. After joining, I came to know that it is generic hiring & then I have given 2-3 project interviews. The interviewers said that now they will schedule client interview but none has scheduled that. Just want to know if there is any disadvantage in case you are on bench or any time limit for onboarding in a project in IBM.
If you had 3-4 months off before starting an MBA program, what would you do? Usually I would travel internationally, but COVID restrictions make it a bit difficult. Am interested in things like: working on an organic farm/vineyard, national parks, wellness retreats (been a difficult year and I want to work on myself mentally), etc.
Anyone recruiting for a Remote HR Manager or Recruiter in the Baltimore/Columbia and Annapolis area.
My 6 mo just switched to a new daycare bc the old place (we started at 4mo) had NO transparency. she was coming out with dirty face, dried up tears, red marks, frequent blow outs etc that the teachers/admins kept brushing off. New place offers 24/7 camera access and provide lots of updates throughout the day. The teachers seem to be doing the best they can. But after the first week I noticed my baby was extremely aggressive, vocal, irritable, &can't nap. Should I be worried about the new place?
Is there any value in applying to HSW with my stats? MBB background, 3.2 undergraduate GPA (double degree in engineering & math; top 10 state school), 710 GMAT
