Is this actually a real question?
Except on the very rare occasion where you need to pack for like 3 weeks, why would any sane person ever check a bag?
I check every week and idgaf. Hate dragging that thing with me.
Carry on for sure!
I mean you can make your life as easy or complicated as you want. For me "simple" means not checking a bag and be able to go home or client straight out of the airplane, for other people "simple" means checking the bag and not having to drag it with them. Your choice
carry on!! No time to check bags every week ...
Child, good luck out there.
How much stuff do you pack? You wear Monday's cloths on plane, pack 6 pairs of underwear (never know when big D decided to take you), 3 pairs of dress socks, 1 pair of pants, 3 dress shirts, and 2 sets of casual wear (rewear if you need- who are you seeing in casual multiple nights?), casual shoes, 3 sets of workout clothes & shoes, and toiletries. If you can't fit into a carryon for 4 days, you are either too fat or need to pack lighter.
OP, is clearly new to the industry
No shame in the question because you're new here but yes, carry on only. Roll your clothes. Pack smart.
I've checked almost every week and have yet to lose my bag or wait for more than 5 minutes for it to come out. (With and without status, flying delta).
Always carry-on for 1-2 week trips. I find myself frequently arriving too close to the flight time to check a bag (45 min for domestic).
Carry on only. Checking is for amateurs.
Briefcase on spinner = ideal combo.
@D2 that's exactly my thought
Carry on
Used to not to but now I check bag so I can claim the 2500 miles bag on time from Delta. I blame Revenue based earning for this.
i check my bag because its the kind that you can hang suits up inside so i dont have to iron stuff when i get to the hotel
I check too. If I am delayed I do not want to haul any sized suitcase around the airport while I'm shop or something.
