75=99 in CPA land
any points above 75 is immaterial
Just follow Becker. Do what Becker says. Becker is God
Some people are just good at test taking and some are not. If you put the work in you will pass, but it's harder for some than others. Please never think it's a measure if intelligence though. Some of the dumbest people I know are CPAs...
Don't slack! Keep doing whatever you're doing and finish strong. Score doesn't matter, but your methods are clearly working. Knowing the amount to slack is next to impossible.
Becker. Writing my own set of notes while watching the lectures, then doing all HW and simulations. Week before each test I go back and rewrite an even more condensed set of notes/outline to review. The act of writing (while time consuming) is the best way I retain info.
Anything higher than a 75 means you studied to hard lol
Anything over 75 means you wasted time unless you want to brag on fishbowl😜
Unless your scores are good enough for an award and huge monetary bonus, you want to be in the 300 club. With that said, don't slack just because you have done well. Make sure you're not studying so much you burn out, but if you're doing well and still somewhat enjoying life, just keep doing well. Good luck!!
Perfect score is the same as in bowling 300
Tell me what you are doing. About to take my first and not sure the best way to study, how much, etc.
Only matters if you get the award and your firm gives you double the regular bonus (usually). But it isn't really worth it.
Just pass
I've heard that some firms give an extra bonus I you get the Elija Watt Sells Award...but other than that no, it doesn't matter at all. 75 is it.
Yes nothing above a 75 really matters, but it's better to aim for a higher score so you have more room to fall
If you worked for PwC that score would earn you $25,000
Not quite ....300/4=75
Perfect = just the bare minimum to pass
