Two years ago I was laid off from my network engineer job and I had no idea I'd be in this position all this time later. I don't have anything against my current profession, which is dog walking. It's just so outside my interests and my only real interactions are with dogs. It's quite lonely, and it's been hard to hold on to hope.

I’ve been lay off this afternoon because low performance, it just two weeks ago I talked to my manager and told her that she’s micromanaging me a lot and I need more autonomy at my work. I didn’t like what they’ve done to me specially I’ve been redundant from the previous role before joining this company. I cannot sleep please any plan’ action and what to answer for the reason why you leave your company? I’ve been in 3 jobs for the last 2 years.

What do I say if my employer asks me if I’m looking for other work, or want to know if I plan on leaving at a certain date?

Hi everyone. I was a solution engineer at Oracle. I graduated from college in May and this was my first job out of college so the lay offs were pretty rough. Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. It’s like they don’t know what to say or I make them feel awkward so they don’t bother…I’m trying to focus on a few that have been supportive but it’s hard…Any words of advice? 😞
