How do you appease the client when they call and ask when their tax returns are done and they want them done now but they are further down the queue of returns because they submitted their PBCs later than other clients who submitted their source docs on time?

Just crafted a wonderful email to the client detailing information on how much tax they aren't gonna pay, all I get is "thanks".

We’re in such a vicious business. You give your heart & soul to an agency, a client, a brand. Then the wind changes & you’re laid off, reassigned, chewed up, spit out, on to the next. I’m tired.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

How do you 100% utilized folks try to network with other folks in at the firm if you’re always at client site? Trying to get some face time with them

Is there a special title at your company for a Project Manager that works on product development and not an IT project manager?

An example might include launching a new product from conception through form writing, rating, filing, programming, training, and implementation, or the transfer of products from an acquisitions writing company to ours.

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. I hated my project for reasons both legitimate and petty. I worked fairly hard for awhile, diplomatically rolled off, and got a better project. I'm happier now. Ama!
