Creative sprints generally bring client in more frequently and are a collaborative way to engage. But ongoing, your CD needs to do their job and correct the situation with the account team. It’s a good learning opportunity for you, as well, if you want to get into creative management. Selling the work to your partners is just as important as selling it to the clients. If they have bad feedback, find persuasive and positive ways to get them to see why the work is right. Half the job of a CD is sales and politics. Knowing how to move people to your POV is a powerful skill. The worse the account people are at their job, the better you need to be at selling and defending the work.
