Wanted to get FB thoughts on two offers:

1.) Series C start-up: Director, 210k base, 9-13% annual bonus paid out every month starting from join date, 50k equity, 10k Signing bonus TC: 250k.

Pro: love the people, easier to impact, mission-driven
Con: start-up growing pains; 30k less than other

2.) Public Tech: SM of Strat; 200k base, no annual bonus; 250k equity over 4 years, 20k signing TC: 280k

Pro: 30k more comp, bigger name, defined role
Con: Unsure about fit; harder to stand-out

Could someone please provide inputs on below 2 orgs have offer from both of them.

Tech stack- java , microservice developer YOE- 7 years

CBRE - 26fixed +2 rrb + 2 JB(after providing 31.5 ctc counter offer , 28 fixed 2.8 variable)
UST global - 31 fixed + 1.5 variable + 2 JB

Can anyone from @CBRE suggest what is the package they're providing , i think i am being lowballed by the HR CBRE UST Global.

If you’ve left before your clawback period ended, how much time did your company give you to pay your signing/retention bonus back?

If we’re not likely to break even with our base this year, independent of BU, does it make sense to leave now for +30-50% total comp vs biting the bullet and waiting for next year? Been here for a little less than a year and failed to negotiate a first full year assured bonus, just had a partial year bonus in 11/21

Received offer to exclusively work for a tenant and help them open new locations. $115k base 10% bonus & also stock options. Remote work, lots of driving, similar job title. Its a VC funded startup & aggressively growing. I’ve never worked for a start up, so curious what everyone’s experiences are and any feedback would be super appreciated thank you!!

Hi! I started at a new company 2 months ago and while I’m really enjoying my job so far, I’m having a hard time gauging whether or not I’m doing a “good job.” My role seems to be always evolving, which is fine and I actually enjoy being a support to the greater marketing team, but I feel like I need better defined targets to make sure I’m meeting expectations.
