It was on a large public park and this was one of the few bathrooms on that side of it. She couldn't gone to a cafe or bar just outside the park but she didn't know she could do that
Why does it bother you so much that she takes these steps to protect herself if she’s not comfortable? Does she force you to do it too? Or shame you because you don’t? There is still a chance you can get covid and pass it on despite having the vaccine and maybe she is protecting others in her life who, for whatever reason, may still need to be protected. I still wear my mask despite being vaccinated because my wife is pregnant and is not getting the vaccine until she delivers. I couldn’t care less what people think about it because they won’t be there if I end up getting covid or if my wife or baby get sick. Maybe ask yourself why it bothers you so much.
Yeah I agree with OP here - I was also pretty frustrated that Trump politicized it instead of encouraging everybody to do what was necessary to beat it ASAP, and I'm not offended if people still choose to wear a mask, but I can't say I understand their behavior or motivations beyond a level of caution so far beyond the scientific recommendations that it doesn't make sense to me.
Again you do what works for you it's your business just don't ask me to get it just like I didn't "get" the woman who walked up to me in a car repair shop last week and started telling me how Fauci should be shot

It was fine actually, though we had a hard time getting a strong fire going on the grill. We're all a bunch of city slickers (that or everyone's dad manned the grill during family barbecues but they didn't)

I’m pregnant and have a 2 year old at home.
My fully vaccinated husband and I still wear masks everywhere we go and will continue to until we feel comfortable enough to not. I dk I think that if people are not comfortable not wearing a mask, it shouldn’t affect anyone but them.

I’m a little puzzled reading this post and comments. Some people are comfortable not wearing a mask when it’s not required, some people rather wearing a mask (presumably to be extra cautious). Why do we assume alternative motive, like being political or just being negatives. Wearing a mask is an effective way of preventing the spread of airborne diseases. Just because it’s no longer required under guidelines, it doesn’t make them weird or unreasonable for wearing a mask.
