So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

You made the right move. Just try to be present and do a great job, learn as much as you can.. I think there are sweet spots for exits, depending on what you want to do, who you know, and luck. Generally people leaving 2 years post mba have gone on to do more exciting and impressive things than those who stayed for longer. But the path is safer if you get the promotion and then move on.
Presumably same exit opps but at diff seniority. What was the firm pre BCG?
Obviously just my opinion but seems worth it from my perspective. Careers are long and MBB experience will always be valuable.

It would have taken you 2 years to become an SA had you joined BCG from the beginning, so how is that a “down level”?
In NAMR you can go straight from A to C in 2 years, SA role is just for experienced hires
