When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

Welcome to our sleep deprived world! Lack of sleep is a definite issue - our body adjusts to it, and you will too. Alternatively, you’ll learn to nap along with the baby when home, and make up for it with longer sleep times in the hotel.
But to answer your first question, it’s incredibly hard to adjust back, yes. You miss your child, and feel guilt at being away when your wife is shouldering the burden. I’d accept it and double the effort at home when you go back.
Dealing with my wife’s post partum was difficult for me - she was still incredibly emotional, and I admit I reacted badly to it in spite of being aware of what she was going through. In retrospect, thicker skin would have been ideal.
You’ll pull through - most of us do :)
Yes it sucked. Yes it gets better :)
Yes, in many ways, in addition to sleeplessness. I was highly recommended to accept it as it is. I also leaned on systems to organize and make day to day more manageable. Some sleep hacks I’ve used since college days (pulling all-nighters were frequent in my curriculum and first jobs) are the 15 min caffeine power-nap for lunch, removing caffeine altogether (my preferred method), drinking something warm, standing desks/activity, and meditation.
My daughter is now four months old, and I continue to search for ways to rise to the occasion of being a father, husband, friend, and an employee/business owner.
