Sorry to hear. Wait for the day you’re a decision maker in your organization and EY comes through to propose on some work. You wouldn’t believe how often Big 4 alumni won’t hire their old firms for work once they’re in industry.
Sorry to hear that 😞 I was laid off last week too, same scenario. We will land on our feet and get out of it with better work opportunities, let it be an EY loss. It’s clearly EY leadership crisis.
That’s terrible. Sorry to hear. So they fire right after busy season. Dirtbag move but not surprised. KPMG just did some layoffs as well.
Sorry to hear this. There are great firms hiring. One door closes and usually a better door opens. Good luck.
Sorry you and others are going through this. Deloitte did the same thing three months ago so the other B4 are just copying each other. They didn’t really have enough “low performers” to get to the numbers deemed necessary so they went from just cutting fat to cutting muscle. It left a sour taste from those who were cut.
I’m sure you will land on your feet. Stay positive
Damn sorry to hear this.
Yes. It’s really rubbing salt in the wound honestly. Sorry to hear it.
I am so sorry to read this. However trust me there is a world outside your ex-employer and trust me it is still not that means as B4. Spread your wings and find a new height.
