Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

Shirt no pants

Wear a Jacket. Its zoom. Can wear sweat pants if you want but wear a good shirt and a jacket. First impressions matter.
Its a small thing, takes 0 effort, and probably ahead of the curb of those that decide not to go that route.
I’ve been wearing a dress shirt for all the lower level interviews and a jacket for people with impact
Shirt and tie OR shirt and jacket. That's my .02.
Jacket no tie is never wrong. In "normal" times, I would recommend suit w/ no tie - what we call that the "full Obama casual look". Pres. Obama always looks cool, collected, and casual so not a bad starting point. Bottom line is if it was good for #44 it is probably good for you.
Regarding t-shirts, it is highly unlikely anyone on this bowl is cool enough to pull off Obama's iconic bomber jacket w/ black tee (and don't even think about the '44' stitching) so accept your sartorial fate and put the jacket on!
Nowadays, you can pair that shirt and jacket w/ a pair of flannel pants and some big old fuzzy bunny slippers. Or, get a combo outfit - your call. Just don't stand up...

bought one for my son - thought it was hilarious. no financial interest. you can achieve same w/ Gap bottoms, abercrombie top,and a needle and thread
No jacket. Amazing pressed shirt. Nice pants. Anyone that wears a jacket is “trying too hard” to impress and this hurts more than helps. You are interviewing them. You have the skills, talent and ambition - figure out where those will have the most impact.
