We are in mid year reviews currently and received feedback from multiple people which is anonymous. The feedback is mostly good, but there is feedback that is negative that is the exact opposite of much of the positive feedback. So as I reflect on how to improve I am struggling with the phrases “not open minded” and “not solution driven” when others indicate I take time to understand, provide research, collaborate,etc. Can these phrases be a bias toward the female gender? Looking for insights.

I would focus on the themes from the many vs comments from 1. Just be mindful of that feedback and adjust as needed going forward.

I had a similar situation last year and I really got into my own head over it. Not great. It is one set of feedback and as the previous person said be the leader you want to be. If it is being around solution driven and open minded. Create yourself a few open questions to use in meetings that you lead. Good luck and it’s one piece of feedback against a backdrop of getting through everyday in high pressured environments.

So, I've realised there's a problem with developers, a lot of them are coders, not engineers. And another issue, is that, companies don't really care about their progression as far as I'm aware, so what did you guys do in your own time to transition from being a coder to an engineer?

I got selected to HCL Technologies , had submitted my documents and all the required information also updated my joining form in discover HCl website. It also shows that my bgv is completed but I have'nt recieved myoffer letter it has been more than a week.
