Well I did it! Finally pulled the plug on an 18 year consulting career. So excited to not have to deal with the politics, last minute weekend request by domineering old school Partners/ always working on PTO and am overjoyed at never having to write another damn RFP/ proposal response. I put my blood, sweat and tears into this place. I have no regrets and knew I had burned out. It’s important to be honest with yourself. Yes people, there is life after Deloitte! Industry here I come!

I'm a brand new attorney (passed the Feb 2021 bar) who started an in-house counsel position a few months ago (where my focus is negotiating agreements for the sale of my company's software). Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. Struggling with imposter syndrome here. So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me.
