Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

Private equity ops roles come to mind also
Varies by level. Some create their own funds to buy/manage small companies and sell off as they improve. Some get hired by the PE firms that constantly hired them. If they've had interim CxO responsibilities, they can move into those type roles in industry, too.
@Mckinsey1: how strong is that practice at McKinsey btw?
Lol @ Mckinsey weren't they sued as a result?
My understanding is they're still an also ran at McK compared to strategy consulting. Will become more important during the next downturn, but never the important player
Couldn't really say as It's not the space I play in, but RTS, Implementation and Digital (strategy not Implementation) are all big growth areas that McKinsey is investing pretty heavily in
