I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon

You should probably check out in-house agencies. They're known to have better WLB.
I’m not sure advertising is the right industry for you.

Many bigger established agencies can be good for work/life balance. Best way to find them are here, glassdoor, and networking around to meet others that actually work in those environments.
Depending on your skill and career plans, another option is moving client side. Similar to agencies, not all companies are created equal and even different teams within the same company can be drastically different environments.
Tech companies can offer amazing comp packages AND balance, however that depends on the company/team and the path to get hired can be difficult. Lot of resources out there that describe that journey.
As a follow up question for those who do interviews, does saying I’m looking for better work/life balance in an interview make me sound like I’m not hard working?
Is it better to not be straightforward about that, but instead just ask the necessary questions to see what their work/life balance is like?
You’d probably want to ask what a day in the life of a PM there looks like instead. Also you inquire what the politics look like and communication rhythms to get an idea of how crazy it will be 😆
Go in-house. I've been client-side for 2 1/2 years. In that time, I've worked 2 weekends and a handful of late nights. And by "late" I mean 6:30-ish. For WLB, it was a life changer.
I had a recruiter reach out. But I also see job posts on LinkedIn. I use "creative project manager" as my primary search term.

I am in pharma advertising. Definitely not too much balance. However, I work east coast hours but live on the west coast. This time difference has been great for family time. Even when I work late I can still sign off in time for a couple hours family time vs kids already being in bed.
Thanks for your thoughts/ideas!
