Honestly me rn in consulting. Just need the right project and you can have these hrs.
I have a pretty chill project. But I just don't want to be client facing.
A lot of internal CoE type roles can have pretty great hours. You’re paid for your knowledge and a few good hours of work per day. Lots of technical support roles can be pretty flexible too, especially if you automate parts of your role.
Second this. CoE roles are great

Fannie Mae, just signed 150k offer with 5 YOE for a fully remote role where my friend averages 20 hours weeek
Comfortable sharing more about the role? That sounds extremely interesting.
Software engineer. Find a team / project that doesn’t have tight deliverable deadlines
This. I probably work this at my current job and make 170k.
If you're underemployed, meaning highly skilled/experienced for the expectations your role - a lot of roles can pay 100k and come in under 30 hours

Lol many industry jobs if you find the right team
Ill look into this! Thanks 🙏
Influencer. Probably something manager level in analytics. Influencer is easier tho
I have experience in analytics. But honestly want to lessen facetime/management. I wouldn't mind just coding without having clients or a team to manage 😅
Tech consulting. 100k is way low too. About 20-30hrs of real work per week so you get to do a lot of chores around the house as long as you stay somewhat available to your team 9-5
CrossCountry consulting
100% believe that lol

We do, if you find the right areas lol but with the downside of occasional 60hrs

It’s like no one ever heard of markets before.
I’m not saying these jobs don’t exist, but I am saying you need to ask yourself the question: why, if this job pays $100k for 20 hours of remote work, hasn’t someone come along and offered to do it for less (or to do more for the same pay)? $100k for 20 hours of remote work is literally beyond the wildest dreams of many Americans. People would kill for that kind of opportunity. So what is it that you have that those people don’t, that lets you grab it?
Others have pointed out some obvious possibilities: being the child of a rich connected person. Having the skills and experience to command a lot more, and choosing to make less. Finding the right role in government (sadly), where they can’t fire you for phoning it in once you’re past your probationary period.
But these aren’t exactly “roles” in the sense that you’re not generically looking for a type of role. You’re looking for something far more specific than that.
I feel like I really only do 40 at D and get paid really well. Sometimes I do 45. Am still on 2 clients, just delegate and delegate and delegate
