Hello all. Looking to get into SE roles at Salesforce. Can anyone help a burnt out implementation consultant with some tips/pointers I should follow before applying? Would really appreciate any insight 🙂.

About 6 months ago I applied for a team lead role and didn't get it. My boss, in recognition of my efforts (and maybe being a little scared that I'd quit) gave me a 13% raise, and minor promotion to get better clients. NOW I applied for another team lead role (2nd interview soon, wish me luck), if I get it, could withhold a raise from me? Or maybe short me on a raise because I already got a bump this year? I haven't had the convo yet, just trying to be prepared.

A few months ago I interviewed for a trading position. I recently received the job offer and the title doesn’t match the job description I applied for (it doesn’t have the word “trader”), though they insist that job responsibilities haven’t changed. I had all rounds of interviews and filled in pre survey from and was waiting for my offer letter from last week, but today i got a call from HR saying that the location is Bangalore and when I was asked about the same, I clearly said Gurgaon in the interview.
He is sying to give the above in the mail and then he will discuss with team and get back to me. I am not sure if i write that and send, they will cancel my offer and not give me the offer. Confused. Urgent
