This has been my issue when applying to other jobs as well. I am demanding flexibility and work from home and they are pushing back
Yup exactly. Fantastic retention scheme. I’m not leaving until someone matches what I’ve got here
All I have to say is wow what a great retention tool for pwc.

CR1- yup, but even that varies team by team for non remote hires. No one in my niche is being made to come in if uncomfortable. I have two small kids at home (one under 1) and am still pumping. Partner is fine with me being home still, and letting me decide when I'm comfortable coming to office again. With hoteling, pumping and carrying pump to/ from work adds complication. No vaccine for my kids yet either. So I'll see how both of those things work out and decide when to come in next 👍
At EY the default is still wfh but the firm is wanting people to work together in person more for some reason. If you’re able to travel in to an office on your dime a couple times a month you’ll probably be fine.
While EY is wfh default(not work from anywhere)., we'd rather have people than not have people and firm leadership is quick to grant exceptions in my experience. I know if I wanted to permanently move to a farm far away from any office, I could do it and continue working remotely. YMMV. Just make sure you discuss during the interview process your existing lease -- I'd honestly see them offering a sign on bonus/moving bonus for you to break the lease(I got a moving bonus during campus recruiting even being an out of state hire to my office). Just discuss. The worse that can happen is they say no and demand you move to the office location, and then you simply decline the offer.
Doesnt Deloitte also have full remote?
Yeah makes sense. My pals at DT are all remote and not planning to return
