Hi! I've been trying to reach the IRS about correcting a name on a return, they won't process my tax return bc of this error. I call the number they provide 800-829-0582 ex. 372 or 772 and when I call i get a message that I need to call the number above. So it's driving me nuts bc it's a literal circle. I have a qq. Does anyone know of a Tax Preparation Software/service provider that is doing high volume and high quality annual IRS tax form prep for 1040s, Sub S, LLC and C Corp? Preferably remotely, not in person?

I accepted a role in New York City but my direct manager said I can work from home in Boston instead. My understanding is that I would be paying NY taxes, but not MA taxes. Can anyone here confirm? Also, would my employer have to incur any additional taxation because I am remote?
