Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? I personally want to be in the suburbs but I hear the traffic situation is quite bad. Current consultants in Atlanta, how much time do you actually spend in the office vs remote vs client site? Would you advise I try and stay closer to the office?

Flights-international and domestic. Virgin Atlantic for local delta flights + flying blue, aeroplan & Singapore for international flights
I never find flights cheaper on the Amex portal, so the 5x on flights (Amex Plat) or using Amex points on flights bought on the Amex portal doesn’t make sense for me; “sweet spot” transfers to Cathay or ANA business class doesn’t work for me either as even their own customer service can’t figure out their blackout dates and it’s super restrictive for me to use points for upgrades on international flights; pooled 300k+ points and just can’t find any good ways to use them

You get 5x on flights booked directly with airlines, too. Not just portal bookings.
ANA around the world in business class.
This. I use both chase and Amex points to transfer to virgin Atlantic to get ANA business/first class flights.
