What is a current hourly rate for a Broadcast MD/Plan/Buyer in LA who has been actively buying & planning for large & small agencies/clients, 30+ years exp? What is current market demand? I white label for a variety of agencies. Reason, is an agency that I worked for for 5+ years cut my rate 1/2 during the pandemic and wants to keep it that way saying broadcast is dead, buyers are a dime a dozen and that $45 is the going rate, meanwhile offering me a $4 mill TV buy at this rate. Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

Please let me know what is the correct industry standard CTC for a team lead accounts payable, I have recently been promoted to a team lead and want to know if I am paid correctly or not.

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.
