Most want an answer in 48 hours.
24 hrs with negotiation. I would say that the whole negotiation process can take up to a week or more but if you don't respond for two weeks then as the recruiter they would probably move on to the next candidate.
Depends on how interested you are..?
Depends on level and other candidates. If you know they have limited options (i.e. skill set or clearance) then I guess you could pull off 2-weeks and look like an ass.
I requested 48 hours last time I switched and got 3 phone calls bypassing the recruiter to “check-in”
All case by case. If there isn’t any urgency on the company end, maybe no issue...
As a hiring manager, I’ve never had someone take longer than 3-4 days...
I’ve had plenty of people take a month+ to transition/start...
Wait a couple days, Accept the offer and ask for a start date a month out. Gives you additional time with the company that hasn’t committed
Just tell them you need more time. And put pressure on the other firm to put up or shut up
I have never reneged and really dont want to - but if you dont give me at least a week to close my other searches then you’re setting yourself up for a renege.
For context, there is another firm I am interviewing for that has been so painfully slow and I would love to work there.
But there is no guarantee and I don't want to lose out on the offer I have now which I like too...
I’d yank it at 48 hours

Make sure to ask and get clarity with any of your questions before accepting the offer.
I once drew an offer out for 4 weeks
