My advice is that it gets easier the longer you are in it. You get more used to the tempo of the work, figure out routines to stay healthy, and get more control over your schedule. Just being able to decide which flights to take is huge. I don't often do early morning flights anymore, and I try not to fly before 9AM.
That said the travel does get worse in some ways. Multicity trips become the norm. I should also not even that I'm on the data science side so I can make most of my team's (on shore PhDs primarily) work remotely.
I’m at a crossroads now. I can make M in four years and be done. Or I can try to make Partner. If it’s the latter, I think I should approach the next four years differently.
What about an internal consulting role for a F500?
There are exit opportunities, of course. But if I want to stick through this job, what should I be doing to keep my sanity?
What level are you now? If you don't want partner, go Specialist track, delegate well, and just focus on the bare essentials. Take your 3 rating and be happy.

Thanks. I’m beginning my second year as a C, which is the second level at Deloitte. I’m also starting to think about relationships and family, so I’m trying to understand if it’s possible to do this and have the type of family and social life that I want
