I make it a point to get myself to local events (farmers markets, music gigs) so I don't feel completely cut out from the life that most others live. I also do a full body massage every other month. That's all I do really. I try to enjoy life as it is.
Honestly it really varies by week. There are days off when I do absolutely nothing but rot and I call those my rot days. Then there are days where I am extremely productive and tackle a huge to do list and feel really accomplished. Kind of depends on how much the week drains me.
So true here too! Love your term for less-than -productive days! Balance is the key, I believe.

Me too! My weekend I'm always rushing and i feel like some people don't understand because they don't have the same sense of urgency or responsibility and they just kind of... Relax? Lol. Trying to find a balance for myself
I always sleep in, take a lazy walk with my husband and our dog to get coffee, and spend the mornings doing the crossword. I've gotten so much better at relaxing as I've gotten older, I think I was made for it (haha). I find that avoiding screens, having a few goals but also social plans, and just taking things slow is my approach.
What’s a day off?
I can relate to how you are unable to relax because you are so used to the rush, the hustle, running here and there. I am always in that kind of situation which I'm still trying to find ways to slower my pace during off days or relax alot more than usual. The only time I find myself not moving much is when I'm really sick. haha!
