ACN does match dollar for dollar up to 6% of your salary. I've heard that's much better than most firms.
Well you hear wrong....
Deloitte does 25% match up to 6% of your salary. There's a pension plan in there somewhere too but no one talks about it and most people don't know they have it.
IBM matches up to 6% salary, vested immediately. But that only pays out in the last paycheck of the year so if you leave you get nothing.
0% here. But at year end we get a contribution of 6.5% of our total compensation (salary plus bonus) into 401k, so that's upwards of $10k
Acn2 is right but that's only after your first year
It's 1 year. But it only starts beating at 2 specific times during The year. (I think July and January). So if you start in August it's almost 1.5 years before you start to vest
I can attest that it is better than EY
Pdubs match is only 25% for 401k however they put 5% in another retirement account regardless if you contribute individually
EY's is about the same as pwc we had a defined pension that has been scraped for a cash benefit similar to wealth builder, it's a worse deal
Deloitte matches 1.25% actually. It's .25 per dollar up to 6% of
Deloitte's pension plan is actually pretty good for people who stay a really long time.
No it vests after 2 years, not one, right?
ACN killin it over here. And A5, pretty sure the match begins at the half/full year mark, but you are vested at your personal 2 year start date.
^^Wow
When does everyone vest for matching?
ZS matches 100% up to 3% of your salary but it only fully vests after 6 (yes, six) years. After tao years it vests 20%, then another 20% every year
Big K does 50% up to 5%, additional pension plan vests in 3 years.
Gotcha
Sounds like PwC and D are pretty similar at 25% of the first 6% you put in. Ours vests over a lofty 5 years at about 20%/yr. As P1 outlined, theres another savings account that the firm funds solo as well, mine keeps pretty close to the 401(k).
P2- wrong. 25% of 6% is 1.5%. 100% of 6% is 6%. 100% vesting immediately. Begins after one year of service in the next July or Jan. We also have an employee stock purchase plan that gives around $1,500 additional per year in cash.
