I got a call from the Google recruiter about my L7 em interview Google She said I did overwhelmingly good on all interviews except one had mixed feedback on a system design. No surprise because it was not a good interview. The recruiter said i had a choice to go to hiring committee, give referrals they could call about my system design or take another system design interview. I’m not confident about the system design because of the bad experience I had with the previous interviewer. What should I do?

My company uses a lot of offshore Indian contractors. They're sourced from a US-based Indian consulting firm that's registered to a residential address. Real shady stuff. I suspect a lot of companies are also outsourcing recruiting so that's where the Indian recruiters come into play. They get paid a fraction of what US recruiters get paid so sit there and scrape LinkedIn profiles all day. And they lowball you on the rate because they keep the difference.
These people never stop scamming!!!!!
They have been doing this for 20 years. Only work with reputable companies
But it is exponentially going up now. Fraud, Scam, Deceit and you name it.
Just wait till they start sending in "graduates" from the local Somali Learing Center....
There are lots of hard-working, honest people from India here in North America and back home. Having said that there are also many scammers who take advantage of the innocent and blind, who have never dealt with people that are devious The same can be said for Canadians Americans, and other parts of the world. It’s just not a problem with Indian people. The fact is that there are 1 billion people in India and many of them very well educated and come over to North America with great jobs. This just means that we run into them a lot more than we would people from other parts of the world. I have had nothing but amazing colleagues, business partners, customers and friends that are of Indian descent, but just like in every other culture, there are some baddies. Let’s not stereotype.
“some baddies” ???? haha
Pathetic how the job world has changed. Even the U.S. companies are not the same.
I didn’t know that they also pest the hiring managers.
When you look a role and you want the role yet wonder if it’s legitimate please look for the companies hiring mgr. and tag them
I think you just answered your own question.
I have always wondered how do they find jobs from India to hire people in US.
I got a call from an Indian Recruiter once. It was for a job in Washington DC. This was before the work at home craze. I live in the Boston area. I told her I was not interested in relocating. She was puzzled and said you don't have to relocated you can just commute daily. I told her that if they are having you recruit from India they should at least give you a map!
You think that’s low? What about the piecemeal contracts for 25 / job to pick up packages at FedEx and do warranty repairs? The economy is full of the low-ball jobs. If you’re motivated enough, then get in the market to be one of the contractors. It would be hard to compete with the international conglomerates that can afford to pay fractionalized wages in bulk.
