What are the task/exit differences between a technical program manager and a non-tech program manager? In a program manager role right now and it‘s very high level, don’t have many individual contributor tasks (which I’d prefer given I’d say I only have 3 YOE). Looking at TPM reqs though, it seems there’s a heavier emphasis on development process knowledge and compsci experience more so than just project management skills. Is this because being a TPM leads into more product mgmt/developer roles?

I have been selected into ZS for the BTAC role under CCM(Customer-Centric Marketing). My YOE is 3.8 in Cognizant, and the domain is ETL, DW, cloud(AWS).

My question is, ZS is giving a great package compared to what I have in Cognizant (Above 100% hike), and Cognizant is ready to retain me by giving somewhere 50%-60% hike. Will ZS be a good choice for me to switch? In terms of growth, technologies, work, pay. Or should I accept what cognizant is giving and get retained?
