Six months without the complexity given by CoViD
Whoa that’s way too long
A week
Oh so super short wow
I waited about two weeks once to get positive news. I had started to wonder if I'd been forgotten, and when I got a call telling me they were extending an offer I was surprised. From what I've been hearing, it seems like a lot of companies take forever to notify people these days.
Yea seems to be the trend which sucks cause I get so anxious between that time
I also waited three months. In my case, it was for a government role, and they were on a hiring freeze. I knew an offer letter was coming, but it was still a long wait.
Oh wow very lucky to be hired in those circumstances
I've had the reverse experience about 30 years ago. I attended an interview, undertook several tests for the position and was told that I had passed at the higher level. After a short discussion I was given the job on the spot. The interviewer even asked me which department I would like to start in and we agreed that my choice was a wise one. Since the new job would involve moving to the other end of the country, I put my house on the market, started looking for somewhere else to live, and started packing. I was on a fixed-term contract so I didn't need to give notice. However, a month or so later, I received a letter thanking me for going to the interview but regretting that I had not got the position. I never did manage to find out what had happened.
Omg that is insane!! So sorry for that experience
