Interviewing for manager...

S/o to the Veritas Technologies LLC recruiter who reached out to me via LI for an interview for an AE role. We set a date and he had an emergency the day off and asked to reschedule. Day of the reschedule; no-show’d for the Zoom Call and ignored my messages, emails and call after. completely ghosted me 👻
What’s interviewing been like for you all lately?
I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.

Always good to develop relationships and make contacts for later use. They understand the industry and will tailor their expectations/frequency of communication based on where you’re at in the search. And if not, it’s likely not someone you want to work with anyways.
No. I did this. And eventually moved. Nothing wrong with it.
Yeah casually talk to recruiters until you find one you like to feed you opportunities so you can move when the time is right
Just be upfront with us about your level of interest. I always chat with semi interested candidates that just want to see what the market is like. It's fine to inquire. What upsets us is when someone makes us market them and do a ton of work and then not take the process seriously.
Passive candidates can be active candidates really quickly. I was one when I practiced and eventually moved when the right job opened.
