Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

Negotiating with EY for M/SM Tech Consulting. I have 15 years experience, skills are in demand and my interviews went extremely well. 1. What are the salary ranges for M and SM in NYC. 2. I am told it is only going to be a M now, for my own benefit-no EY network means failure at selling. Whats the highest salary I can negotiate at M. Any other tips will be handy. I have "sold" (support on sales & new roles through relationships) plus I have solid delivery experience. I really want SM 😀😀😀 EY

A pat on the back and a crumpled $5 bill if you’re a homegrown consultant
Lol where are the % numbers OP asked for ?
It’s dependent on which group within consulting and is wildly variable depending on company performance. Pay bands are wide and overlap
^Not true, Accenture has set buckets for each level.
What would be the ranges for the positions?
Principals/senior principals/ principal directors are alternatives to manager/SM/MD. They’re more of an expert track where you’re expected to deliver on projects + produce thought leadership pieces rather than sell (at the SP and PD level). A PD is an L5 whereas MDs are L4s so it is a lesser title. However, the path to MD isn’t necessarily closed to this track though.
This is very helpful. Could you please elaborate a little more? For someone coming from outside, L5 or L4 which I have heard before but no one has explained it clearly. For example, M has X1, X2 levels etc and these are typical salary bands. X1 - $125-150K, X2 - $150-175K, etc; I’m just making these numbers and X1 etc just to explain. Could you please explain it for folks who don’t understand these acronyms? Feel free to directly PM me. I truly appreciate it.
A director at Accenture is an MD except they aren’t expected to sell work (and subsequently paid less)
So not an MD.
L7 is Manager / Principal
L6 is SM / SP
L5 is Principal Director
L4 - L1 are MDs
In which industry
General consulting
A to SA - 4
SA to C - 2
C to M - 0
M to SM - 6
SM to MD - 9
