I’m interviewing for summer roles that would be mostly (or entirely) transactional and would most likely lead to a job after graduation, so salary info is important for me making a decision. Applying for digital marketing/ communication specialist at another hospital. Requested $30-35/hr. Their HR is saying at that rate I’d need 10-15 years of experience in my field. I’m currently at 4-6. However after doing research via glass door it seems that their rate for 10-15yrs is 20k lower than the market rate of $95k median. JPMorgan Chase - 27L, still negotiation going on (also have h1b visa if that matters in negotiation).
I am planning to join in JP Morgan. This is going to be my first company switch (working at onshore since last few years) so wanted to know below things:
1). Is 27L is good enough for 10 yoe resource ? I have seen people joining 24-25L at 4 yoe.
2). How is asset and wealth management (AWM)..? JP Morgan

I’m actually curious... especially for MBB consultants... Does anyone really think their strat projects provide the value you’re getting paid to do? What % of the work that you provide for client do you think is value-add vs. “business speak bullshit” (e.g. just slides full of vague words like “value-add”)? Not trying to be facetious, just interested because of the cynical state of the world of consulting memes.
