What kind of 401k plan did everyone invest in? Or did you invest your money elsewhere?

Deloitte only makes 401k employer contribution in June/July. Am I still allowed to make 401k contributions to the max allowed which is $19.5k before then? Or do I have to account for employer match?

I signed an offer outside of consulting that pays the same as my previous role but, has some better benefits (cheaper health insurance, 9/80 schedule...). Now, I tend to regret not having negotiate a higher salary because I was afraid they will rescind my offer. I got about 20K more in new consulting offers but we all know what sacrifices it will take. I’m at a small firm (<10 attorneys) and the firm covers all health insurance premiums for staff and associates (including spouse and family plans) and also covers half of our deductibles. We also get a fitness reimbursement up to $200 per month. Are those benefits standard across the industry?
