I’m an M2 LCOL
I've been in it risk for right around 5 years.
Started in 2017 at 60k.
Currently at 149k and have been confirmed to getting promoted, which raise my base higher.
Total comp wise I will be at right 200k.
@RSM1 All PA?
If you play your cards right, you’ll increase quickly. I’m making double my starting salary after 3 YOE because of hopping between firms. However, still I’d say you generally should double your starting salary after 5YOE if you’re an above average performer.
Nice kpmg. I made 62k as staff1 and hit 120k as m3, so 8 years. Never switched forms, but did jump from VHCOL to HCOL
Yes ofc, it’s not a value add role. It’s more of compliance role so naturally there’s a ceiling
Depends where you work and also whether its IT Risk Assurance or traditional Accounting Risk Assurance. I can speak to EY IT Risk Assurance, which we call Tech Risk, general increases for someone performing at expectations is anywhere from 5% - 12% on non promotion years and then anywhere from 15% - 22+% on promotions.
Could also be much higher depending on cost of living and market adjustments
Could be wrong, but pretty sure it's illegal to pay people differently based on age.
Overall 10 years of exp, 7 in public - 3 of those in RA (IT and SOX implementation consulting), Manager - $140k, 7-10% bonus. Average of 6% raises outside promo years. We have some of the highest billables in the firm at MA.
