McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)
Any idea where is Uday Odedra joining??
Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

Accenture > EY > D
Unless you’re a hardo and love Deloitte lack of work-life balance and culture
Whoever pays you higher for the same/similar role.
Once hired your experience will be mostly defined by the team and project you'll work on. And there are some obvious perceptions about the overall *culture* of the firm but it won't be wildly different in B4.
I’m currently an experience hire consultant at Deloitte in their “Delivery Center” (same job, less pay, and, in theory, better WLB). I currently make $75k.
Curious to hear what the equivalent Consultant level would be at EY or Accentuee
I’m looking at the SC level. Haven’t had any offers so can’t say for sure, but nobody has balked at the 100-115k range. My guess is Accenture would come in highest. This is in Canada
