For people that are on the fence about the industry, I tell them to try another district. You know what you did and didn't like about your school so you can go in armed to see what another school is like. Don't be afraid to see the school, ask for a tour, talk to the teachers. Sky's the limit!

Curiosity question - I’m a naturally very chatty senior and I’ve noticed that the staff 1s who are starting remotely and living at their parents’ home (which makes a ton of sense with the remote working) that I’ve been working with seem to want to chat about both semi related work stuff and non work stuff a fair amount. My current city has a population of about 500k and my hometown is about 100k. My main reason to move away from my hometown was dating and jobs, but neither seem to be going any better over the past 2 years. COL is about 28% higher than my hometown and jobs don’t pay much better.
