Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

I have been interviewed and selected for a role in EY UK. The status of my job application is “congratulations on receiving an offer from EY”.
However I have not received any email yet.
Can someone confirm which team sends the final offer coz the HR is saying that he has processed everything from his side.??EY
I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

You have to mention the YOE to get the answer

Consultants should be getting something in the range of £45k-50k as per my understanding. But yes, YoE will make a difference.
So should be closer to £50k or a little over I reckon.
Savings will heavily depend on a lot of factors. Some of them being
Whether you're moving alone or with a dependent (and what their employment status is like)
The area you want to live in as rent varies drastically
Your travel cost to and from office, your lifestyle in terms of eating and drinking outside, entertainment etc (feels like doing anything in London is at least £30-40),
If you're planning to make some big purchases which have recurring costs such as insurance for a car
These are just some factors to consider. But in a nutshell, don't expect to save too much given the tax is a lot here, rent prices are on the rise, travel costs have increased for the tube, and general inflation which has shot up food prices by 8-10%
In the short run yes. There is a lot of uncertainty politically and economically.
But for folks with 1-2 YoE moving would make sense given the starting salary for grads (non MBA) is very low in India and the base salary for the UK is quite high (accounting for PPP).
