I recently got interviewed at Salesforce for position of Lead Automation Solutions Engineer and they extended an offer. FYI,I did some initial negotiation and the package looks like this;
Total Pkg - 255K(Base - 136K,MBO - 9K,Commision - 49K,RSU - 60K/4year).
Is there any room for negotiation or did I already hit the roofline?

I’ve elected max I can contribute to 401k through employer then switched jobs to a role that pays lot more. I continued to elect the maximum 401k contributions in the new job as well. Since they have no visibility to my previous contributions, the new company did not manage my contributions in a way that they don’t contribute more than maximum fed contribution limit of $19k max.

Hello Fishes, I recently received an “informal” offer from D-USI. More like a CTC break-up to which I had to send my acceptance. I was wondering how long D-USI would take to send the actual official offer letter.

My advice: Concentrate on yourself above anything else, follow orders but also know how those orders affect you, serve your country but never forget you are serving yourself first. The objective is not to die honorably but to survive dutifully. What else would you add?

So I just got fired…. And was told I’d get two months severance… I’m in utter shock since I just got back from the hospital. This might be a naive question - when they say lead a case with a hypothesis, what does it mean in cases such as market entry or acquisition? Question for BCGer: I am not clear about how to compare promotion timelines with McK/Bain.

My understanding of the promotion timeline is the following:

Consultant to PL -> 21 (if you were an A at BCG) to 30 months

PL to Principal -> Minimum 45 months of tenure as a C+PL

Principal to Partner -> 21 months of Principal tenure, but can only promote in Jan or May (?)

Partner to MDP -> Absolutely no clue how this works
