By far the worst part: 1 shot at each question. It’s just unlike any other exam I have ever taken, can’t go back or forward. The CISA and other exams were cake walks in comparison, IMO.
What is the correct answer to this?
A. Blue Green Kettle Pink
B. Blue Green Kettle Orange
C. Green Blue Kettle Orange
D. Blue Green Pink Orange
Blue Green Kettle Orange
Every answer seems correct.
There is the real world answer and there is the CISSP answer.
The fact that it’s adaptive, meaning, it gets more difficult the more correctly you answer. Agree with above, ISACA exams are very easy in comparison.
Sometimes having too much real world experience messes you up. The ‘real’ answer may not be the right ‘test’ answer.
the scenario based questions. it's not "what is the definition of a firewall". it's more like Bob is working with a firewall and blah blah blah what should he do? then you apply the concepts you learned to choose what Bob does next. and what works in real life doesnt mean shit on the exam. you live in isc2 world and you have to do what isc2 wants you to do in their ideal world on the exam.
^ this. Every answer will sound like a correct answer. You will debate yourself in your mind that if you have more information on the question, the choice will be easier. But like Cap1 said, you are in isc2 world and you need to pick the right choice based on isc2 world. Not thinking those what ifs and what you’d do based on your real world experience with additional info - like what if option 2 is costlier. What if option 3 is more complicated. If the question doesn’t state it, don’t bother thinking those scenarios up.
the extreme detailed focused kind of answers
