My proudest achievement as a community manager was helping to create a thriving online community for a large, international non-profit organization. We went from having a handful of active members to thousands of active members in just a few months, and I took great pride in seeing the community grow and thrive. On top of that, I had the opportunity to work with a great team of people who were all motivated to make a positive impact on our organization and the world.
It would be great to pick your brains on what you felt were the key things you did to achieve that if you ever have the time?
It was when I was able to help a group of people in my local community to come together to create a community garden. It was a long and difficult process, but with a lot of hard work and dedication, we ended up with a beautiful garden that everyone in the community could enjoy. Seeing the smiling faces of the people in the community as they enjoyed the garden was a really rewarding experience and I'm proud to have been a part of it.
