Any FINRA paralegals here? How do they assess promotion and/or decision to offer a permanent role after the 6 months contract?

Getting frustrated with not understanding promotion cycles and Deloitte way of things. Came in not knowing enough about b4 firms and lower level than I should have accepted. And not knowing how roles worked am acting in a role well above mine. Now I feel trapped. Is the best answer leaving the firm and coming back? Is it worth waiting it out to see what June brings? I have a lead on another job now just hard to decide and throw away this time

Got an offer at NatWest chennai. Pay is decent. After submitting resignation, i got promotion initiated as well. But package wise NatWest is way high. Pls pour in your suggestions in terms of job security, propagation regulations in NatWest.

I applied for a director role, and didn't get it. The agency came back with an offer for a manager role (and lower salary), with a verbal agreement that I would be working toward a promotion "in the next few months after I had been shown to be coachable".

If I take the offer, it's a true lateral move. The agency is a good one doing exciting work though.

I got a 7% raise yesterday and 'potential for a bonus', but I'm disappointed. Our ACD and junior copywriter left a year ago. Despite hiring another CW six months ago, my responsibilities have almost doubled in the past year.

My boss said he fought for the 7% raise - they originally offered less. They haven't told me what bonus I qualify for, only that I 'qualify for one this year', and they haven't given me any criteria to meet.

Hii Sharks, I am currently with 12 L fixed and due for promotion within 6 months then my fixed might go with around 15.5 L with extra variable pay in PwC only. In pwc WFH option is there.

Now I got offer from KPMG where there are giving 16 L fix + 1 L JB. Also HR gave one day more to discuss. In KPMG need to go office at Bangalore.

Now is it worth to switch KPMG with that package by considering WOO, tax 30% effect ?
