Would love the answer to this as I am co sidering the jump…. I have several colleagues that moved to WF and they say that there is less politics, less ‘back stabbing’ and more willingness to work together. But most of the feedback is from people on the honeymoon stage at WF
What line of business or type of role?
I was at WF, left to try something different at another FI, and came back to WF. True WF is not a toxic environment, in my opinion, more teamwork, a lot of opportunities, great benefits , pay and overall great place to work.
Pay for external hires is great. Staying at wells longer than 2-3 years is a mistake unless you are jumping around internally through posting out. You make no money staying in role for promotion.
I just work at Wells Fargo. It’s too big to say. I’ve known people in extremely toxic work environments here but I have had great managers and coworkers
WF is fine if you can find a group with a real manager and not a clique.
What role are you looking at? I worked at JPMC for over 15 yrs before making the switch to WF and the base pay is significantly better at WF. JPMC is above the rest in technology and simplifying processes. A ton of colleagues from JPMC have switched to WF and a lot of C suite executives have too. I don’t work with toxic people or managers so I guess it all depends on your team.

Worked at both but in the UK, so not sure my perspective is fully valid
