Depends on the office and how closely HR and LMs want to track it. I know offices where about 15% of people come in and everyone else plays dumb.
I’m at one of Edelman’s smaller shops that they bought up so at their NY office. From what I hear the same is true for the other Edelman teams that people just come in as they want/need, maybe on average once a week. I’m sure it probably varies based on your boss/team, but from what I’ve seen we do so much work with people in other office and some who are fully remote it would be hard to actually enforce the 3 day mandate they have.
3 days a week either in the office or with clients, but there aren’t set days that we have to be in the office.
60%.
It feels like the mandates to make sure it is 60% is coming soon. Like someone above says some offices / teams that won’t be a problem. Others more so.
To clarify, OP - it’s been mandated 60% (3 days) for months, with the stipulation that not complying could impact your eligibility for raises / promos / bonuses. It’s not that the policy is different in certain offices, it’s that more people are willing to take a risk to see if they really mean it. Whether you go in depends on if you’re a rule follower or a rebel. 😉
BTW, if you are thinking of joining Edelman, it's the office that you're looking at that matters. Let me know in DM, happy to help...
