Bec is changing and becoming harder in 2024. You should make sure you take it before it changes. Depending on how quick you get through the exams bec should be either 1 or 2.

like

I did far-aud-bec-reg. Worked for me.

like

FAR (bc largest content coverage), Aud (never took audit in school and right before an audit job started), Reg, Bec (before new update, Katie tap other than COSO was interesting)

like

BEC and AUD first and second. AUD isn’t going to change in 2024. REG and FAR are supposed to be easier in 2024.

It’s because they’re getting rid of BEC and extending FAR and REG as a choice for the 4th exam. Some content will be moved from FAR/REG TO the 4th exam.

FAR>AUD>BEC>REG

So...
What to do? What to do?

Came back to school in August with a cruise ship still sitting on my stage. We walked away from Anything Goes the day after the sitzprobe because of the quarantine. Still taking the wind out of my sails.

We are here now, but not able to stage shows. Logic says, "Do a radio show!" Just not sure I want to subject the kids to the emptiness of that performance style given the Zoom life they've been living. The production of it could be fun though.

As a man are you looking for an extremely successful lady that is extremely career driven and willing to do whatever it takes to make it to the next level or are you more attracted to a lady that is happy at the level she is at and takes the next step as it comes? To put things into simple terms would you rather a 9-5 lady or a 9- whenever the job is done lady? Explain why please.

I have one pro bono case that I kept when I left my firm to go in house. It’s a matter completely unrelated to my company and I have malpractice insurance through the nonprofit organization associated with the case. I’ve made clear to my client that I’m repping this client in my personal capacity. No one has asked me specifically about pro bono stuff at my company - if I know there’s no conflict of interest, is this something I should disclose? To whom should I disclose this?

Is BEC doable in 2.5 weeks while working full time - 40 hours? I plan on dedicating 3 hours each weekday and 12 hours each weekend day. I most likely will also have a bit of time during working hours.

Anyone else going crazy over the 2/3 score release? I took the exam on 1/13 and it feels like the wait is forever. Post test stress is sooo real

New York folks:
Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.
